Welcome William Webb Johnston!!

Webb was born on September 9th, 2012 at 1:30 am.  He was 8 lbs, 15.4 ounces and was 21.5 inches long - one big boy!!  Here are a few pictures from the hospital and a few from our first days at home.

We are having such fun getting to know our little boy and are excited to share some photos with you!

~

Check out all that hair!!  I definitely look like my Daddy :)

Mama's Boy!!

Giving Daddy a bear hug...

I love my specially knitted cap Grandmother Brooks.  Thank you!!  It fits perfectly...

Just getting home from the hospital.  So glad to be home!!

Thanks for coming to visit "Pops!"

Thanks for helping take care of me May May!!

Is it time to eat?  My watch says so!!

Now that I have had my first bath, my hair has a little curl to it!  Definitely a trait from my Dad!

Well now that my hair is dry, it looks like I stuck my finger in a light socket!  This is my "punk rocker" look that I am working on...

My Aunt Nikki and Uncle Justin sent me this sweet "Hurley" outfit that is my new favorite.  Dad just couldn't resist getting out his wakeboard and setting the stage for a classic picture!  Thanks for the sweet duds!!

Need we say more?  Stella has been so sweet with Webb.  She gets a little excited from time to time, but overall she is quite gentle as demonstrated in this photo!!  Just precious...

ABC Elephant Painting

Here is a picture of the painting I have been working on for the nursery.  My Mom's is going to be WAY cooler, but I wanted to make a little something creative too.  I saw the idea in a trendy baby shop here in Charlottesville and decided to put my skills to the test!  It's acrylic paints on canvas.

Baby Shower - June 16th, 2012

Here are a few pictures from the precious baby shower that some of my dearest friends in Charlottesville threw for us back in June.  We are blessed to have such wonderful friends and will always remember this special day!

~

This is the most awesome diaper cake I have ever seen.  How could you not love the tractor cake topper?  And check out those socks!!

My precious friend Lindzi chatting with my rockin' 89 year old grandmother.  She is the coolest grandmother ever.  We played a nursery rhyme game and of course she won with her unbelievable memory.  The best part was she won a 6-pack mini travel cooler with a side pocket.  Upon further investigation of the cooler, she said, "This is great!  I can take a 6-pack AND my cigs all in one tote!!"  She is always joking around - I love her!

If only I could be as hip and cool as her when I am 89....

A little socializing with my dear friend Colleen, the 9 month pregnant hostess :)

These are a little difficult to see, but they are the most amazing, handmade onesies from my talented friend Lauren!  They truly are fantastic and each one is made with love...

My sweet friends - The hostesses (except for LT, where are you friend?)

This shower was so fun because Forrest was invited and got to share in the celebration as well.  I love the fact that he was a part of it all too!

My amazing Aunt Allyson and Grandmother who drove all the way up from South Carolina to help us celebrate.  Forrest and I were honored that they were there and it would not have been the same without them.  Thank you for coming!!

I had to give a little shout out for the youngest one at the shower.  Lindsay and Alex's newest addition - Mac!  Looking pretty handsome Mac!!

More prego pictures!

Dad came to visit Forrest and I in Charlottesville this past weekend and we had such a great time!  Despite not really liking to pose for pictures, Dad was still able to snap a few shots of me on his camera phone.  My favorite is the one of me, looking rather large, in front of the restaurant we ate at called "The Whiskey Jar."  How appropriate, right?!

And in this one...check out Stella grinning for the camera!

34 Weeks

We snapped these on our back porch last week.  As you can see, Stella wanted to make sure she was not left out!!  Poor thing, little does she know she is about to take a back seat to all of the action...

I mean, is she not the cutest?  She has no clue what's about to happen...

The Nursery

Hello everyone!

Welcome to our baby website!  Forrest and I wanted to create a small website where we can post some pictures of what we have been up to so that you can share in this experience with us.  With just about 5 weeks to go before baby boy Johnston makes his debut, we are getting more and more ready.  So stay tuned for upcoming news and photos!

Here are some pictures of the nursery so far.  The only thing we are missing are a few pieces of homemade art work!  We commissioned mom to paint us an African scene with 3 elephants walking into the sunset - something we saw on our safari a few years ago.  Once the masterpiece is complete we will certainly upload a picture of it!
